Andrea has worked across several sectors including roles in hospital-based community psychiatry (Johns Hopkins), police mobile crisis teams, corporate organizations (technology, sports brand, aviation) and in private practice with individuals.

In schools, she has worked in the public and Catholic systems and her roles have covered the lifecycle of a student’s development from first enrollment, to graduation, to post graduate advisement. She has worked as a school counselor, careers advisor and in several senior administration roles including as the Director of Institutional Advancement.

As a mobile crisis clinician on a police-based team, she worked with schools for post crisis support. At Anne Arundel Community College, one of the top community colleges in the USA, she served as an adjunct faculty member teaching an award-winning parenting curriculum throughout school districts to Middle School parents.

She has supported global wellbeing in education projects and participated on a global steering committee co-chaired by Martin Seligman and David Cooperrider investigating students thriving around the world.

She served on an international drafting team as co-creator, contributor, and facilitator for wellbeing economy policy currently being used from small towns, communities, and cities, to parliaments in countries around the world. On this project, she worked alongside economists, social scientists, entrepreneurs, executives, academics – all interested in co-creating an ecosystem – a kinder world that benefits people and the planet.

She has a particular interest in the study of kindness and equanimity as gateways to peace and is currently studying Richard Schwartz’ model of Internal Family Systems. She is utilizing this along with mindfulness, trauma informed approaches, clinical applications and positive education to assist schools and her clients.
